The Orthenbrug is one of the bridges over de Zuid-Willemsvaart. It was destroyed by the German occupyers during the Battle for Den Bosch in october 1944 in an attempt to slow down the offensive by the British 12th Army Corps. The city was liberated by the 53rd Royal Welsh Division. In 2015 the new railwaybridge was named after the Royal Welsh Bridge.
