Through the years, the famous Dutch delta works are increasingly being incorporated into nature. On the North Sea side of the former work island Neeltje Jans, young dunes have formed. It was the last warm day of 2021, the anther grass had already largely lost its green shine. The surprisingly cold deep blue shadow reveals that it is already October. Remarkable is the color contrast between the light clear sky and the dark sea, where on the border the dunes of Westenschouwen light up so brightly in the sun.
